Explore the Outdoors Around Orem
Utah is known for its natural beauty. From rolling mountains to vast desserts, a variety of terrains call our scenic state home.
If you're looking to take it all in near our Orem apartments, here are a few top destinations:
Rock Canyon is one of the last urban forests in the United States, and it draws thousands of visitors every year who seek recreation and renewal. During the 1860s, the property was settled by pioneer families, and the creek provided them with drinking water. Decades later in 1938, President Roosevelt incorporated Rock Canyon into the Uinta National Forest Watershed, and today, it offers an array of activities such as base jumping, rappelling, and bird watching.
Don't forget your camera as Stewart Falls is one of the most photogenic waterfalls in northern Utah. It falls in two tiers, and visitors enjoy a moderate hike through a scenic forest before reaching this magnificent attraction.
Bridal Veil Falls Park
Nestled a short distance from the Provo River, Bridal Veil Falls Park spans three acres and is a popular picnic destination. Mature trees provide shade throughout, and the park is famous for a national treasure known as Bridal Veil Falls. It is one of the top one hundred waterfalls in the United States, and visitors use the shallow pool at the bottom for swimming and wading.
Mt. Timpanogos Park
Known as one of Orem's crown jewels, Mt. Timpanogos Park spans forty-four acres and took fifteen years to plan. Incredible mountain views surround the property, and the entrance bridge is just past Canyon View Park. It is where many enjoy a leisurely afternoon with family and friends, and activities include picnicking, hiking, and jogging.
